Fabulous Follies
The Sonoma Community Center’s fabulous holiday review show
is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 2 at the Center. This is an evening of
light-hearted fun, inspiring performers, campy, glittery and humorous holiday
entertainment showcasing the talents of local performing artists! Their motto
is, “No act is too ridiculous or astounding!” Takes place at the Center, 276

Opening reception for this year’s holiday season Arts Guild
show is Friday, Dec. 9, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. View and shop for fine arts
& crafts, jewelry and cards presented by 25 member artists and 14 invited
guest artists. Free admission. Open 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. daily through
January 1. Located at 140 East Napa St., Sonoma.
Christmas at the Sonoma Mission
This year’s celebration of “Christmas at the Mission” is
happening Saturday, Dec. 10. The evening includes Christmas carols and
scripture readings, followed by refreshments served by volunteers in period
attire. Tickets are free but must be picked up in advance at the Mission on East
Spain Street, limit of 4 tickets. Since 1986 the Sonoma Valley Ministerial
Association has coordinated the program at the Mission Chapel. Donations of
canned or packaged foods will be accepted for Friends In Sonoma Helping. For

Holiday Open House at Estate
Come celebrate with local wine country artists, food
purveyors and friends showcasing unique gifts for holiday shoppers. Book
signing by Sondra Bernstein, with the release of her new book “Plats du Jour”
along with tables by Bellwether Farms, The Candlestick, Wine Country
Chocolates, Sew Bizarre, Moon Mountain Studios, Ma Snax Superior Dog Treats,
Annadel Estate Winery and many more! Apertivo and antipasta will be served.
Sponsored by Estate and the girl and the fig restaurants, along with wine
sponsor Domaine de Nizas the open house takes place Saturday, December 10, from
11:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Estate, 400 West Spain St., Sonoma.

Fireside Stories at Bacchus Glass
Come mix and mingle in good cheer while characters come to
life at an evening of homespun winter tales around the warm glow of the hearth
at Bacchus Glass. Friday, Dec. 16, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. there will be
delectable treats and refreshments served. Adults are $10 and children are

Photo Exhibit at the Museum
A new exhibit of “The Springs” has opened at the Depot Park
Museum. The photos offer a look into the Valley’s past including the Sonoma
Mission Inn, the Boyes Springs railroad station, the Valley’s lumber yard and
historic Highway 12. The exhibit will run through 2012. The Depot Park Museum
is located on First Street West in Depot Park and is open from Thursday through
Sunday, 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. free of charge. For more information, call (707)

Christmas Dinner at the Vintage House Senior Center
A traditional holiday meal will be lovingly prepared and
served by volunteers at the Vintage House on Sunday, December 25, at 264 First
St. E, Sonoma. Dinner is free, but reservations are required in advance. Call
(707) 996-0311. Home deliveries will be provided by the Kiwanis Sonoma Plaza
Members.
