Earth Day Clean-Up in Jenner
Join Stewards of the Coast for our Annual Earth Day Cleanup of the Russian River Estuary and North Jenner Beach. Saturday, April 24th at 9am - meet at the Visitor Center across from the gas station.
With the heavy storms this season there is a lot of garbage that has washed up on North Jenner Beach and on Penny Island.
Volunteers are needed to haul garbage to the river's edge where it will be loaded on canoe barges and transported to the boat launch where it will be loaded into a dumpster.
Volunteers will also paddle around the estuary and collect garbage along the shores of Penny Island.
Meet at the Visitor Center in Jenner - Across from the gas station.
Contact Stewards at stewards@mcn.org for more information.
Wear sturdy shoes, dress for all weather conditions and bring a water bottle. Water and fruit will be provided.
