There is an incredibly light sky outside of my airy cyber-hut on this early evening as we approach the Summer Solstice. The longer days always make me feel like I have so much more  time!

Community Shopping

We all appreciate the beautiful community-run Sky Garden and the adjacent Saturday Community Market. Open from 10-1 p.m. where you are offered a lovely assortment of fresh produce, eggs, body care products, jewelry, tamales and much more!

Join Us at the Club

The next meeting of the Cazadero Community Club will be on Tuesday, July 5th, 7 p.m. at the Firehall. Be sure to attend to help plan events such as the Old Tyme BBQ to be held the Sunday of Labor Day weekend (Sept. 4th). Many volunteers are needed for this great fund raiser-with proceeds donated directly into the community, including the Cazadero VFD, FT. Ross VFD, Montgomery School and the Cazadero Firefighter’s Association. Set-up will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, the 3rd -come and help! New this year are crafts booths that are available for only $20.00. Contact Nikki at 632-5252. Bingo games will be played at the Firehall on June 25th, July 23rd and August 13th at 7 p.m.

Music at the Waterfall

The very lovely CazSonoma Inn is once again sponsoring their very interesting ‘Wednesdays at the Waterfall’ Series, with July 20th and August 17th the next dates to save. Benefitting the Cazadero Performing Arts Camp, these evenings feature a theme, with a special dinner, lecture, wine offering, art and music. Please call 632-5255 or go to their website at www.cazsonomainn.com.
